Mastodon (Similar to Twitter)

  • On the web, ‘Halcyon‘ makes it look just like Twitter.

Pixelfed (Instagram clone). Looks just like it! (But no app yet.)

Diaspora  and Friendica  (similar to Facebook (which is looking increasingly dodgy)). I recommend trying one of the big instances, ‘Nerdica‘ or ‘Social.iSurf.ca‘.

And I am trying out Hubzilla –  it can publish to many of these as well as WordPress.
